“My sunshine”, Rin smiled against Sousuke’s lips, taking in the fresh feeling of his damp skin. 

 “Yeah, yeah”, Sousuke agreed, forever in love with Rin’s hopeless romanticism, but still bashful in the face of it, reliving the same fluttering in his stomach and heat on his cheeks of the first time he read the words on a letter from the other side of the ocean. He’s a child once more, discovering a bond different from friendship, realizing that the deep longing in his bones was love every time his mind wandered to Rin, every time their eyes or hands touched, every time his lips touched Rin’s.
